The success of the Shamrock Tea Set, designed by Michael Maguire in the 1870s, meant that other complimentary pieces were required.  The Shamrock Biscuit Jar was designed sometime in the 1890s and remained in production up until 1984.  It should be as welcome an addition to any Shamrock Tea Set now as it was over one hundred and ten years ago.
